Meet the Speakers
Dr. Rachel Rubin is a board-certified urologist and sexual medicine specialist. She is an assistant clinical professor of Urology at Georgetown University and works in a private practice in Washington, DC. She is one of only a handful of physicians fellowship trained in male and female sexual medicine. Dr. Rubin is a clinician, researcher, and vocal educator in the field of sexual medicine. She completed her medical and undergraduate training at Tufts University, her urology training at Georgetown University, and her fellowship training under Dr. Irwin Goldstein in San Diego. In addition to being ISSWSH Education chair, she also serves as Associate Editor for the journal Sexual Medicine Reviews.
Dr. Miriam Graham is a physical therapist working in the Washington, DC metro area, and is the co-founder of Restore Motion Physical Therapy in Rockville, MD. Dr. Graham received her Master of Science of Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in 1994, her Masters of Business Administration from Johns Hopkins University in 2001, and her Doctor of Physical Therapy from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions in 2011. Dr. Graham treats clients and patients with chronic pain, headache, fibromyalgia, EDS, and pelvic pain/dysfunction. She also works with yoga and ballet students on improving the health and ease of their dancing and yoga practice.
Dr. Modjoros is a board certified physician and AASECT Certified Sexuality Counselor who specialized in gynecology and pelvic pain before pivoting her career toward sex therapy. In 2014, she founded Sexual Health Consultants, a sex therapy practice dedicated to strengthening connections between mind and body and healing sexual dysfunction. Dr. Modjoros provides sex counseling related to any sexual dysfunctions, including issues around identity, libido, arousal, pleasure, and pain. She is also a Certified Hypnotherapist with a specialty in Sexual Freedom Hypnosis, which enables her clients to access and develop their own sexual self while releasing guilt, shame, and anxiety.
